About the Post
Applications are invited for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Project Associate-I for the project titled “Next-Generation Molecular Dynamics Study to Elucidate Nucleation and Crystallization Mechanisms in Gas Storage Materials.”
The project is funded under the Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant (PMECRG), Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF).
The research integrates molecular dynamics simulations, atomistic modelling, high-performance computing and AI/ML techniques for gas storage materials including Metal-Organic Frameworks and clathrate hydrates.
Who Can Apply
For JRF, candidates should have relevant B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech qualifications with First Class, minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA, and a valid GATE qualification.
For Project Associate-I, candidates with M.E./M.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Computational Materials Science, Nanotechnology, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, AI & ML, Data Science or a closely related discipline may apply.
Relevant B.E./B.Tech candidates may also be considered subject to funding agency eligibility conditions.
Preference is given to candidates with knowledge of Molecular Dynamics, LAMMPS, Python, Linux, HPC, AI/ML and computational materials research.
