DRDO SAG JRF Recruitment 2026
The Scientific Analysis Group (SAG) under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, has released an official notification for the recruitment of 11 Junior Research Fellows (JRFs). Selected candidates will work on advanced research in Cryptology and Information Security at SAG, Delhi, and one position is earmarked for a sister DRDO laboratory.

Educational Qualification
Mathematics
- Postgraduate Degree in Mathematics (First Division)
- NET Qualified
Computer Science / IT / CSE
- B.E./B.Tech in CSE/IT/CS with First Division and valid NET/GATE score OR
- M.E./M.Tech in the relevant field with First Division in both Graduation and Post Graduation
Electronics / ECE
- B.E./B.Tech in EE/ECE with First Division and valid NET/GATE score OR
- M.E./M.Tech in the relevant field with First Division in both Graduation and Post Graduation
Physics
- Postgraduate Degree in Physics (First Division)
- NET Qualified
Desirable Skills
- Cryptology
- Computer Programming (C/C++, Java, Python)
- Embedded Systems
- Quantum Physics (for Physics candidates)
Fellowship
- ₹37,000 per month
- HRA as per DRDO rules

Duration
- Initial Tenure: 2 Years
- Extendable up to 5 Years based on performance and project requirements.
Age Limit
- Maximum 28 Years as on the date of the walk-in interview.
- Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per Government of India rules.

- The fellowship does not guarantee absorption into DRDO.
- Candidates may register for a Ph.D. during the fellowship tenure.
