Job Responsibilities
- Conduct research on friction surfacing techniques.
- Perform experiments on engineering materials.
- Analyze mechanical and metallurgical properties.
- Assist in project implementation and documentation.
- Prepare technical reports and research publications.
- Work with the project investigator on sponsored research activities.
- Present research findings whenever required.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates possessing any one of the following qualifications are eligible:
- B.Tech./B.E. in Metallurgy, Materials Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks or CPI 6.5.
- M.Tech./M.E. in Metallurgy, Materials Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks or CPI 6.5.
- M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Solid State Physics or Ceramics with minimum 60% marks or CPI 6.5.
Preference will be given to candidates having:
- Experience in friction stir welding/processing.
- Experience in nickel-based superalloys.
- Mechanical property evaluation.
- GATE qualification.
Age Limit:
- 28 Years (B.Tech/B.E.)
- 32 Years (M.Tech/M.E./M.Sc.)
