• Work on theoretical and numerical aspects of multipartite quantum cryptography • Topics include threshold quantum distillation, entanglement cloning machines, and quantum secret sharing protocols • Simulation using Python, QuTiP, Qiskit, MATLAB/Mathematica • Security proofs, analytical derivations, and manuscript writing for high-impact publications
Eligibility Criteria
• Master’s degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Theoretical Physics, Quantum Information, Optics, Photonics, Computer Science, Electronics, or related discipline • OR B.Tech./B.E./M.Tech. in Engineering Physics, Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or equivalent • Candidates with valid GATE/CSIR-UGC NET or selection through national-level exams (DST, DBT, DAE, DRDO, MHRD, IIT, IISc, IISER) will be given preference
Desirable Qualifications:
Strong foundation in Quantum Information, Quantum Mechanics, and Linear Algebra
Proficiency in Python (QuTiP, Qiskit, NumPy, SciPy) or MATLAB/Mathematica
Good analytical, problem-solving, and scientific writing skills
Fellowship Details
Months 1–24: ₹37,000 + 20% HRA (₹44,400 total per month)
Months 25–30: ₹42,000 + 20% HRA (₹50,400 total per month, PA-II upgrade)
Ph.D. Opportunity: Candidate encouraged to register for Ph.D. at IIT Indore; fellowship extended as per institute norms if admitted
