Eligibility Criteria

• First or high second class M.Sc. degree in Physics with minimum 55% marks in B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. examinations.

• Ph.D. in Physics with research experience supported by publications in peer-reviewed journals in gravitational physics.

• Experience in gravitational wave astrophysics.

• Preference for candidates with experience in numerical analysis involving ringdown spectrum and tidal effects.

Experience Requirements

• Strong background in gravitational physics and astrophysics.

• Demonstrated ability in numerical analysis and research publications.

Salary / Funding

• Fellowship: ₹58,000 per month + HRA (as per institute rules).

• Tenure: 2 years from the date of joining, subject to evaluation after one year and availability of funds.

Selection Process
