Position: Research Associate (RA) Department: School of Physical Sciences Research Area: Nanoelectronic and Optoelectronic Devices Number of Posts: 01 Nature of Appointment: Purely temporary, full-time research position Principal Investigator: Dr. K. D. M. Rao, SAIS, IACS

Eligibility Criteria

• Ph.D. in Physics (specialization in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics or Materials Science) from a recognized university/institute.

• Hands-on experience in: • Fabricating and characterizing Field Effect Transistors • Lithography techniques (Electron Beam Lithography, Photolithography) • Semiconductor device fabrication • Thin-film deposition methods • Synthesis and liquid exfoliation of 2D materials • Preparation of organic/inorganic perovskites

Experience Requirements

• Desirable: • Expertise in advanced analytical techniques such as XRD, FESEM, PL, TEM • Optical and electrical characterization of thin films • Extensive knowledge in nanoelectronic device fabrication methodologies, lithography techniques, device physics, and optimization strategies

Salary / Funding

• Fellowship/Emoluments: As per IACS rules (refer to institute regulations).

• Duration: Initial appointment for 6 months, extendable to 1 year or more based on performance.
