Directorate of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services
Veterinary Officer – 19 posts (SC‑1, ST‑5, OBC‑2, EWS‑1, UR‑10; 1 PwD reserved) – Level‑7
Eligibility Criteria
Assistant Professors (Medical Specialties): • MBBS or equivalent recognized medical qualification under IMC Act, 1956. • Postgraduate degree in concerned specialty (MD/MS/DM/M.Ch). • Teaching/research experience as per specialty norms. • Knowledge of Konkani (essential); Marathi (desirable).
Assistant Professor (Occupational Therapy): • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. • 3 years teaching experience. • Knowledge of Konkani (essential); Marathi (desirable).
Embryologist: • PG in Clinical Embryology OR Ph.D. in ART/Fertility OR MBBS/BVSc + PG in Clinical Embryology OR PG in Life Sciences/Biotech with certified training. • ART laboratory experience (1–4 years depending on qualification). • Knowledge of Konkani (essential); Marathi (desirable).
Veterinary Officer: • Recognized Veterinary qualification under Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984. • Registration with Goa State Veterinary Council. • Knowledge of Konkani (essential); Marathi (desirable).
Salary / Funding
Assistant Professors & Embryologist: Pay Matrix Level‑11 (7th CPC).
Veterinary Officers: Pay Matrix Level‑7 (7th CPC).
Selection Process

Screening/shortlisting based on qualifications and experience.
Interview conducted by GPSC.
Deputation posts require NOC and clearance from parent department.
