Inter University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), New Delhi, is an autonomous research centre under the University Grants Commission (UGC), Ministry of Education, Government of India. IUAC provides world-class accelerator facilities and research infrastructure for universities and research institutions across India. Graduate Apprentices (4 Posts)

• Graduate Apprentice (Electronics) – 1
• Graduate Apprentice (Instrumentation) – 1
• Graduate Apprentice (Mechanical) – 1
• Graduate Apprentice (Material Science and Technology) – 1

Diploma Apprentice (1 Post)

• Diploma Apprentice (Mechanical) – 1

ITI Apprentices (4 Posts)

• ITI Apprentice (Machinist) – 1
• ITI Apprentice (Welder) – 1
• ITI Apprentice (Electronic Mechanic) – 2

The apprenticeship is purely temporary for one year under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Who Can Apply

Candidates possessing Engineering Degree, Science Degree, Diploma, or ITI qualifications in the relevant disciplines who satisfy the eligibility conditions may apply. Fresh graduates from the years 2024, 2025, and 2026 are eligible. Final-year students may also apply subject to submission of final results during selection.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should possess the prescribed Degree, Diploma, or ITI qualification with minimum 55% marks in the relevant discipline.

Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training or have one year or more of work experience after acquiring the qualification are not eligible.

Experience Requirements

No prior work experience is required.

Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship training or possess one year or more of work experience after obtaining the qualifying degree are not eligible.

Salary

• Graduate Apprentice: ₹12,300 per month
• Diploma Apprentice: ₹10,900 per month
• ITI Apprentice (Machinist): ₹10,560 per month
• ITI Apprentice (Welder): ₹9,600 per month
• ITI Apprentice (Electronic Mechanic): ₹10,560 per month

Medical facilities will also be provided as per IUAC norms.
