DRDO ACEM Apprentice Recruitment 2026

The Advanced Centre for Energetic Materials (ACEM), a premier laboratory under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, has released Advertisement No. ACEM/HRD/APPRENTICESHIP/2026-27 inviting applications for Graduate Apprentice and Technician Apprentice (Diploma) training for the year 2026–27.

The apprenticeship will be for one year under the Apprentices Act, 1961, providing candidates with hands-on training in advanced defence technologies and energetic materials.

Stipend

Educational Qualification

Graduate Apprentice

Candidates should possess any of the following:

  • B.E./B.Tech in the relevant engineering discipline
  • B.Sc. (Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics)
  • B.Com
  • BLIS (Library Science)

Technician Apprentice

  • Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on:

  • Academic Merit
  • Interview (if required)

Only shortlisted candidates will receive the offer letter through email.
