About Post and Position

UWA India is recruiting Assistant Professors and Senior Assistant Professors in Business Economics for its Mumbai and Chennai campuses.

The appointments are full-time and tenurable. Multiple vacancies are available. Faculty members will contribute to teaching, research, curriculum development, student supervision, scholarly activities and academic governance while supporting the growth of UWA India.

The Department of Business covers disciplines including Economics, Management, Marketing and Finance, providing opportunities for interdisciplinary teaching and research.

Key Responsibilities

Selected candidates will:

• Deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
• Conduct internationally recognised research.
• Publish in high-quality peer-reviewed journals.
• Develop curriculum and innovative learning initiatives.
• Supervise honours and HDR students where applicable.
• Participate in research funding applications and scholarly activities.
• Contribute to academic governance, university service and departmental development.

Educational Qualification

Applicants must possess a doctoral qualification (PhD) in a relevant discipline or an equivalent academic standing.

For Assistant Professor, candidates should demonstrate strong research potential, emerging scholarly achievements and the ability to publish in international peer-reviewed journals.

For Senior Assistant Professor, applicants should demonstrate sustained research excellence, quality publications, success in obtaining research funding and the ability to supervise research students.
