About Post and Position

IIIT Una has announced a walk-in interview for Faculty Member and Associate Faculty Member positions on contract in the School of Computing.

A total of seven tentative vacancies are available. The number of positions may increase or decrease.

The engagement is temporary and purely for a fixed duration. PhD holders will receive a consolidated remuneration of ₹90,000 per month, while Master's degree holders will receive ₹60,000 per month.

The appointment is a stop-gap arrangement for a maximum of one academic year, AY 2026-27, subject to the conditions specified by the institute.

Educational Qualification

Candidates with a PhD in a relevant discipline and relevant UG or PG qualifications with first class or CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale are eligible.

Alternatively, candidates with relevant UG and PG qualifications with first class or CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale and relevant teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level may also be considered.

Quality publications, relevant experience and GATE or NET qualification are desirable.

Vacancy and Remuneration Details

Number of Posts: 07 Tentative Vacancies

PhD Holders: ₹90,000 per month

Master's Degree Holders: ₹60,000 per month

The number of vacancies may increase or decrease based on institute requirements.

Selection Process

Selection will be conducted through a walk-in interview at the Senate Room, IIIT Una.

Registration will begin at 9:00 AM on 18 July 2026 and close at 12:30 PM. Candidates must bring the filled application form attached to the official advertisement at the time of registration.

Original documents relating to age, degrees, mark sheets and experience must be presented at the interview.

Applicants should keep their three most recent refereed and SCI, SCIE or SCOPUS-indexed journal publications combined into a single PDF.

Candidates currently employed in a private, government or other organisation must submit a No Objection Certificate from their employer.

No TA or DA will be provided for attending the interview. Selected candidates will be required to join within one week of receiving the offer letter.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should possess the required PhD or relevant UG and PG qualifications with the prescribed first-class academic record or CGPA.

Candidates applying through the UG and PG qualification route should have relevant teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level.

Applicants with quality research publications, relevant experience and GATE or NET qualifications will be preferred.
