The Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Management is inviting qualified candidates with strong academic backgrounds and commitment to teaching and research for Ad Hoc Faculty engagement.

About Post and Position

NIT Jamshedpur has announced recruitment for two Ad Hoc Faculty positions in the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Management.

The required specialization is MBA Management in Business Analytics and Finance. Selected candidates will contribute to teaching and research activities in the department.

Candidates holding a PhD degree will receive a consolidated remuneration of ₹70,000 per month.

The initial engagement will be for one semester. The appointment may be extended for one additional semester depending on the candidate's performance and the institute's requirements.

Educational Qualification

Applicants must possess a Doctorate in a relevant discipline.

Candidates must also have first class academic performance with at least 60% marks or GPA 6.5 out of 10 at both Bachelor's and Master's levels.

The notified specialization or area is MBA Management with a focus on Business Analytics and Finance.

Selection Process

The selection process will be conducted through a walk-in interview at the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Management, NIT Jamshedpur.

Candidates must bring a set of self-attested photocopies of their academic credentials along with original certificates and two passport-size photographs.

Selected candidates will be required to join immediately.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should hold a doctorate in a relevant discipline and must have secured first class at both Bachelor's and Master's degree levels.

Applicants with an academic background relevant to Management, Business Analytics and Finance may apply subject to meeting the prescribed educational requirements.
