Qualifications & Experience
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field
. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis and are awaiting final viva-voce examination are also eligible to apply . Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on the last date of application (Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates applies as per Government of India norms)
. Desirable: Prior research experience in steels and/or hydrogen embrittlement, along with hands-on expertise in multiscale characterization techniques such as TEM and EBSD

Selection Process
Screening and shortlisting based on academic records and relevant research experience
. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email by 15th September 2026 to appear for an online interview

Who Can Apply
Indian nationals possessing a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. thesis submitted status in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
