About the Post
The Department of Biology is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the Molecular Chaperone and Neurodegeneration Laboratory led by Dr. Han-Jou Chen.
The successful candidate will work on research investigating the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative diseases, particularly focusing on:
- TDP-43 protein biology
- JNK signalling pathways
- Molecular and cellular neurodegeneration
- Development of therapeutic strategies
- Molecular and cell biology experiments
- Data analysis and scientific reporting
The project is funded by the Motor Neurone Disease Association and provides access to world-class bioscience research facilities.
