About the Post

The PhD position is part of the AI:HARDWARE Lab, which aims to develop secure, trustworthy, and lightweight AI solutions for embedded hardware used in cyber-physical energy systems. The selected candidate will conduct research on machine learning, AI security, embedded systems, and real-time computing while collaborating with researchers from multiple departments. The appointment is for three years, starting from 15 September 2026 or soon thereafter.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

Hold (or complete before joining) a Master's degree in:
Computer Science
Artificial Intelligence
Electrical Engineering
Embedded Systems
Edge Computing
or a closely related discipline.
Be eligible for admission to the Technical Doctoral School at Aalborg University.
Have strong programming skills, preferably Python.
