Position: Post-Doctoral Fellow Center: Interdisciplinary Research Center for Advanced Materials (IRC-AM) Nature of Appointment: Full-time research fellowship Research Areas:

Graphene and 2D Materials
Thermoelectric Materials
Additive Manufacturing (alloys, composites, ceramics via 3D printing)
Materials Degradation and Failure (batteries, carbon capture, hydrogen storage, nuclear systems)
Eligibility Criteria
Ph.D. in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related field from a reputable institution.
Strong record of published research in one or more of the listed research areas.
Experience Requirements
Preference for candidates with hands-on experience in advanced materials processing, characterization, or testing.
Demonstrated ability to conduct interdisciplinary research and contribute to collaborative projects.

Financial Support
Fellowship Amount: ₹37,000 per month + 16% HRA (as per revised DST-JRF/SRF norms).
Eligibility Criteria
• B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical, Production, Aerospace, Metallurgy, or allied branches.
• Strong academic record with mandatory GATE or equivalent national-level qualification.
• Desirable: Experience in manufacturing metallurgy, solidification processing, modelling, microstructural and mechanical characterizations.
Test Scores Accepted
Valid GATE qualification (mandatory) OR national-level examinations conducted by Central Government agencies (DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc.).
