Internship Details

The Undergraduate Research Opportunities (URO) Program provides talented undergraduate students with an opportunity to conduct research under the supervision of internationally recognized scientists in Germany. Participants become part of active research groups, receive practical research training, and experience academic life within leading laboratories. The internship is conducted entirely in English and takes place between June and November 2027.

Applications are invited from undergraduate students who:

  • Are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree.
  • Study in a Matter to Life related discipline.
  • Have strong academic performance.
  • Are interested in interdisciplinary scientific research.
  • Will remain enrolled throughout the internship period.

  • Belong to fields such as:

    • Chemistry

    • Informatics
    • Materials Science
    • Engineering
    • Bioengineering
    • Related scientific disciplines

Prior research experience is not required.
