About the Position
IIT Indore invites online applications under a Special Recruitment Drive for the posts of Assistant Professor Grade-I and Assistant Professor Grade-II in multiple Schools and Departments.
The recruitment aims to fill 44 backlog vacancies across various reserved categories. Faculty members will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, establishing internationally recognized research programs, mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students, securing sponsored research projects, publishing in reputed journals, and contributing to institutional development.

Eligibility Criteria
Assistant Professor Grade-II
- Ph.D. with First Class or equivalent at the preceding degree.
- Excellent academic record throughout.
- Appointment on contract basis.
- Maximum Age: 32 Years.
Assistant Professor Grade-I
- Ph.D. with First Class or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of industrial, teaching, or research experience after Ph.D.
- Excellent academic record.
- Maximum Age: 35 Years.

- Total Monthly Emoluments: Approx. ₹1,94,220
