About the Positions
The University of Amsterdam is recruiting Assistant Professors in two exciting academic disciplines:
1. Assistant Professor in Visual Anthropology
The Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences seeks an academic with expertise in Visual Anthropology to contribute to teaching, research, and public engagement. The successful candidate will strengthen research in visual ethnography, documentary filmmaking, and anthropological methodologies while contributing to the internationally recognized CameraWise visual anthropology initiative.
2. Assistant Professor in Perceptual & Cognitive Neuroscience
The Faculty of Science invites applications from researchers specializing in Perceptual and Cognitive Neuroscience. The selected candidate will conduct advanced research on perception, cognition, brain function, and neural mechanisms while teaching neuroscience courses and supervising graduate researchers.
