Applications are invited for two Project Associate positions under the National Quantum Mission Project titled "Field Deployable Quantum Enhanced Hybrid Sensor with Integrated Photonic Platform" under the Department of Nuclear and Atomic Physics, TIFR Mumbai. The project is led by Dr. Sourav Dutta and focuses on advanced quantum sensing and photonic technologies.

Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Physics, Quantum Technology, or related discipline with minimum 60% marks
OR
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology in Engineering Physics, Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Optics, or related fields with minimum 75% marks
Desirable Qualifications:
- M.Sc. coursework in Atomic Physics and Quantum Optics
- B.Tech./B.E. coursework in Physics, Electronics, Analog & Digital Systems, Optics
- Qualification in national-level examinations such as GATE, NET, JEST, TIFR, etc.
- Hands-on experimental experience is desirable.
Job Responsibilities
Selected candidates will work on various aspects of quantum sensing and photonic systems, including:
- Designing optical setups for laser cooling of atoms
- Laser spectroscopy
- Electronics development for lasers and control circuits
- PCB design and development
- Development of DAQ and related electronics
- Recording and analysis of experimental data
- Characterization of magnetometers
- Documentation of experimental results and report preparation.
