CSIR-CMERI Centre of Excellence for Farm Machinery (CoEFM) was established in 1965 in Ludhiana, Punjab, as an extension centre of the Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CMERI), Durgapur, under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. The centre specializes in research and development for Smart Farm Machines and Technologies.

Position & Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualifications: Full-time regular Degree/Diploma in relevant disciplines from recognized universities or institutes.

• Age Limit: Up to 35 years for Project Associates/Assistants and 40 years for Senior Project Associate as determined on the date of the interview.

• Age Relaxation: Applicable for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and Women candidates as per Government of India/CSIR rules.

• Maximum Tenure Limit: Candidates who have served in CSIR labs for 6 years or more as Project Personnel are not eligible.

Selection Process

1. Walk-In-Interview: Direct walk-in interview conducted by the Selection Committee on September 02, 2026.

2. Document Verification: Verification of original educational mark sheets, experience certificates, category certificates, and identity proofs at the reporting time.

3. Merit Shortlisting: Final selection based on performance in the interview and meeting mandatory criteria.
