Post-wise Educational Qualification

1. Engineering Officer Gr. 1 – Electrical

• First Class B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Valid GATE score in the relevant paper for GATE 2024, 2025 or 2026.

2. Engineering Officer Gr. 1 – Civil

• First Class B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Valid GATE score in the relevant paper for GATE 2024, 2025 or 2026.

3. Engineering Assistant – Electrical

• First Class 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 years of relevant experience.

4. Engineering Assistant – Mechanical

• First Class 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 years of relevant experience.

5. Scientific Assistant

• First Class B.Sc. with Chemistry.
• 5 years of relevant experience.

6. Technician Gr. 1 – Electrical

• ITI Trade Certificate in Electrical Trade.

7. Technician Gr. 1 – Mechanical

• ITI Trade Certificate in the relevant Mechanical Trade.

8. Technical Attendant Gr. 1

• Matriculation / 10th Pass or ITI qualification.

9. Assistant Grade II

• First Class Graduate Degree in any discipline.
• Basic Computer Course (BCC) certificate conducted by NIELIT.
• For this post, the prescribed NIELIT BCC certificate requirement should be carefully checked before applying.

10. MTS Gr. 1 – Watch & Ward

• Matriculation / 10th Pass.
• The post is reserved for Ex-Servicemen as prescribed in the recruitment notification.

Selection Process

The selection method varies according to the post.

Engineering Officer Gr. 1:
Selection through GATE score.

Engineering Assistant / Scientific Assistant:
Computer Based Test (CBT) + Skill Test.

Technician Gr. 1:
CBT + Trade Test.

Technical Attendant Gr. 1:
CBT + Trade Test.

Assistant Grade II:
Computer Based Test (CBT).

MTS Gr. 1 – Watch & Ward:
CBT + Physical/Trade Test.
