About Position

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of Assistant Professor (Grade I & Grade II on Contract) under a Special Recruitment Drive across multiple departments, including Aerospace, Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Humanities, Sustainable Energy, and AI.

Qualifications & Experience

Candidates must possess a Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, with a consistently very good academic record. Fresh Ph.D. candidates are eligible for Grade II (on contract). Candidates with 3 or more years of post-Ph.D. teaching, research, or industrial experience are eligible for regular appointment as Grade I.

Selection Process

The selection process involves initial shortlisting by the concerned department faculty group based on specialization, followed by an academic seminar presentation. Referee recommendation letters are gathered for seminar-shortlisted candidates, followed by evaluation by the Institute Faculty Advisory Committee (IFAC) and a final interview.
