About Position

Qualifications & Experience

• Associate Professor (Marine Engineering):

  • B.Tech in Marine / Mechanical Engineering / Naval Architecture and First Class Certificate of Competency (MEO Class-I C.O.C).

  • 12 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years as Chief Engineer officer onboard merchant ships (or equivalent full-time faculty experience in a DG Shipping approved MTI).

  • TOTA / VICT course certificate produced upon joining. Desirable: M.Tech in Marine Engg., AECS course certificate.

• Assistant Professor (Engineering Mathematics):

  • Master's degree in Mathematics with min. 55% marks (or equivalent grade) and UGC/CSIR NET qualification, OR Ph.D. in concerned/allied discipline.

  • Desirable: B.Ed / M.Ed or TOTA / VICT certificate from DG Shipping approved MTI.

Selection Process

• Screening and evaluation of applications based on academic credentials, experience, and UGC/DG Shipping norms.

• Interview conducted by the CUSAT Selection Committee.
