About the Organization
The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, promotes entrepreneurship, innovation, and the growth of MSMEs across the country. Through the MSME Innovative Scheme, the Ministry supports innovators by providing financial assistance, incubation, mentorship, and commercialization support to transform innovative ideas into market-ready products.
About the Hackathon
MSME Idea Hackathon 6.0 aims to identify and support innovative ideas in Frontier Technologies that can benefit the MSME sector. The hackathon focuses on six major themes:
- Renewable Energy
- Energy Efficiency
- Automotive Technology
- Industry 4.0 & 5.0
- Robotics & Automation
- Other Frontier Technologies
Ideas will undergo a multi-stage evaluation by Host Institutes, Domain Expert Selection Committees (DESC), and the Project Monitoring & Advisory Committee (PMAC). Selected innovators will receive funding and incubation support for prototype development.
How to Apply
- Visit the MSME Innovation Portal.
- Register as an applicant.
- Select a preferred Host Institute (HI).
- Complete the online application form.
- Upload the required documents.
- Submit your innovative idea before the deadline.
- Track the application status through the portal.
