About Organization

E&ICT Academy IIT Guwahati is an initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, established to promote quality education, research, and skill development in Electronics, Information Technology, and Communication Engineering. The academy regularly conducts Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), research workshops, and specialized training sessions on emerging technologies for faculty members, researchers, and industry professionals. This FDP is being organized in association with Tripura Institute of Technology (TIT), Narsingarh, a reputed government engineering institution in Tripura.

About the Programme

The One Week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on AI for Engineering Applications is designed to provide participants with a strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence and its practical applications across various engineering domains. The programme covers intelligent systems, machine learning, predictive modelling, automation, robotics, smart manufacturing, and AI-driven problem-solving techniques. Through lectures, case studies, activities, and discussions, participants will gain both theoretical knowledge and practical insights into modern AI technologies used in engineering and industry.
