About the Recruitment
The University of Melbourne is seeking Expressions of Interest for the position of Lecturer – Indigenous Social Equity and Leadership on a full-time continuing basis. The successful candidate will join the Atlantic Fellows for Social Equity (AFSE) program, delivering postgraduate teaching, advancing research on Indigenous social change, and supporting Fellows in developing community-led initiatives.
The position offers the opportunity to collaborate with Indigenous communities, academic colleagues, and the global Atlantic Fellows network while contributing to impactful research, education, and public engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, teach, and coordinate postgraduate subjects in Social Change Leadership.
- Supervise and mentor Fellows on community-led social change projects.
- Conduct and publish high-quality research.
- Contribute to seminars, public engagement, and research activities.
- Build partnerships with Indigenous communities and University stakeholders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and the global Atlantic Fellows network.
