Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy the following requirements:

• PhD with First Class or equivalent in the relevant discipline.
• Excellent academic record throughout all preceding degrees.
• Professor: Minimum 10 years of teaching, research or industrial experience including at least 4 years as Associate Professor.
• Associate Professor: Minimum 6 years of experience including at least 3 years equivalent to Assistant Professor.
• Assistant Professor Grade-I: PhD with at least 3 years of relevant post-PhD teaching, research or industrial experience.
• Assistant Professor Grade-II: Fresh PhD candidates are also eligible for contractual appointments.

Selection Process

Selection generally includes:

• Final Appointment

The Institute may shortlist only the most suitable candidates even if minimum eligibility is fulfilled.
