About the Organization

The Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) is one of India's premier institutions dedicated to education, research, training, and consulting in rural management. Established in Anand, Gujarat, IRMA has played a significant role in developing professional managers for cooperative institutions, rural enterprises, and development organizations.

Under the Tribhuvan Sahkari University (TSU) framework, the IRMA School continues its mission of strengthening cooperative education, research, and leadership. The Director and Ex-Officio Dean will provide academic leadership and oversee the overall administration of the institution.

Post Overview

Eligibility Criteria

• Ph.D. degree with First Class or equivalent at the Master's level.
• Master's degree in Business and Management, Cooperative Management, Agri Management, Humanities, or Social Sciences.
• Minimum 15 years of teaching and/or research experience.
• At least 5 years as a full-time Professor in a reputed institution or university.
• Guided at least two successful Ph.D. scholars as Supervisor or Co-Supervisor.
• Minimum eight research publications in SCI, UGC, or AICTE-approved journals.
• Preferably not more than 60 years of age on the closing date.

Selection Process

• Scrutiny of applications.
• Verification of eligibility and academic credentials.
• Assessment of teaching, research, and administrative experience.
• Interview/Interaction with the Selection Committee.
• Final appointment by the competent authority.
