About the Recruitment

The Department of Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering (MSME), IIT Hyderabad, invites applications for one Research Associate (RA) position under the sponsored research project titled:

"Oxidation behaviour of multicomponent CoCrNi-Tax alloys: experimental measurements and ab-initio calculations."

The selected Research Associate will work on advanced research involving the oxidation behaviour of multicomponent alloys using both experimental investigations and ab-initio computational techniques. The project provides an excellent opportunity for researchers interested in materials science, metallurgy, and computational materials engineering. The position is supervised by Dr. Mayur Vaidya, with Prof. Atul S. Deshpande serving as Co-Investigator.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Materials Engineering
• Ph.D. in Metallurgy
• Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering
• Ph.D. in Nanoscience and Technology
• Ph.D. in Energy Science and Technology
• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, or Materials Science with specialization in a relevant area

Desirable Qualification

• Background in Computational Materials Science. 

Fellowship

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of ₹50,000 per month during the tenure of the project.

Selection Process
