Job Responsibilities

• Lead the AI Centre of Excellence and develop long-term strategic plans.
• Build research collaborations with academia, government, startups, and industry.
• Manage AI infrastructure, GPU resources, and innovation initiatives.
• Generate sponsored research, consultancy, grants, and external partnerships.
• Build AI-focused innovation and startup ecosystems.
• Supervise AI CoE operations, budget, staff, and administrative activities.
• Promote responsible AI governance and institutional AI policies.
• Support faculty, students, startups, and external collaborators.
• Organize AI workshops, conferences, executive education, and outreach programs.
• Drive sustainability and national-level impact of the AI Centre.

Eligibility Criteria

• PhD or Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Around 10+ years of leadership experience in research, AI, innovation, or technology management.
• Experience managing research centres, AI labs, or innovation ecosystems.
• Strong record of industry collaboration, sponsored research, or consultancy.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and execution skills.
• Experience in AI infrastructure, governance, and responsible AI is preferred.
