The Indian Air Force (IAF) has officially released the AFCAT 02/2026 Notification for recruitment into Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) branches as Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officers.
Applications are invited from eligible unmarried Indian men and women candidates through AFCAT Entry, NCC Special Entry, and GATE Score Entry. Selected candidates will commence training from July 2027.

Candidates must fulfill age limits, educational qualifications, and physical standards as prescribed by the Indian Air Force.

• Flying Branch: 20 to 24 Years
• Ground Duty Branches: 20 to 26 Years
Educational Qualification:
• Flying Branch: Graduation/BE/B.Tech with Physics & Mathematics at 10+2 level
• Technical Branch: Engineering Degree in relevant discipline
• Non-Technical Branches: Graduation/Post-Graduation in relevant streams

• Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) Interview
• Medical Examination
