Warsaw Fellowship Program 2026: Apply for Fully Funded Leadership Program in Poland

Humanity in Action (HIA) Poland has officially opened applications for the prestigious Warsaw Fellowship Program 2026, a fully funded international leadership initiative designed for emerging civic leaders, social activists, researchers, educators, students, and young professionals committed to strengthening democracy and human rights in the modern world.

The fellowship provides a transformative platform where participants engage in critical discussions, workshops, collaborative projects, and field visits focusing on the intersection of technology, governance, civic participation, digital transformation, and human rights.

The program brings together a highly selective cohort of global participants who are passionate about building inclusive societies, combating misinformation, promoting ethical technology, and creating long-term community impact.

Fellowship Overview

The fellowship focuses on addressing major societal and democratic challenges through interdisciplinary learning and civic engagement.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

• Open to students, activists, educators, researchers, and young professionals
• Applicants must currently reside in or hold citizenship of:
  • Bosnia & Herzegovina
  • Denmark
  • Germany
  • Netherlands
  • Poland
  • Ukraine
  • United States
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• No age limit applies

Action Project Labs

An important component of the fellowship is the Action Project Labs.

After completing the Warsaw program, fellows receive mentorship and support from September 2026 to March 2027 to design and implement independent civic or social impact projects within their communities.
