About DEBEL DRDO

The Defence Bioengineering and Electromedical Laboratory is a specialized laboratory of the Defence Research and Development Organisation under the Ministry of Defence.

DEBEL is involved in advanced research and development related to bioengineering, life support systems, medical technologies, aerospace medicine, protective equipment, and electromedical systems for defence applications.

The internship programme provides students with practical exposure to cutting-edge defence research and laboratory projects.

• Eligibility Criteria
  Engineering Students
  • Candidates must be entering the final year of Undergraduate (UG) Engineering course during Academic Year 2026-27.
  Science Students
  • Candidates must be entering the final year of Postgraduate (PG) Science course during Academic Year 2026-27.
  Minimum Marks Requirement
  • Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying examination.
