Overview
The Defence Laboratory Jodhpur (DLJ), one of the premier laboratories of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), has announced its Paid Internship Scheme 2026-27 for meritorious students pursuing Engineering and Science programs. DLJ is actively involved in advanced defence research related to desert technologies, environmental sciences, camouflage systems, NBC (Nuclear, Biological & Chemical) protection technologies, sensors, advanced materials, and defence support systems.
The internship program is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world defence research by providing students with practical exposure to cutting-edge technologies and ongoing DRDO projects. Selected interns will work closely with experienced DRDO scientists and researchers while contributing to research activities and technology development initiatives relevant to national defence applications.
The internship duration is six months, and selected candidates will be placed at Defence Laboratory Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Interns will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000, amounting to a total stipend benefit of up to ₹30,000 for the complete internship period, subject to successful completion and performance requirements.
