Sambalpur University, an NAAC A-grade state public university in Odisha, has officially released a recruitment drive for 84 regular and permanent teaching positions across various Post Graduate departments and the L.R. Law College. This drive covers three major faculty cadres: Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor, with salaries governed under the standard UGC Scale of Pay (Odisha Revised Scales of Pay for University Teachers, 2019).

Eligibility Criteria:

• Assistant Professor: Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks and a qualified UGC-NET/CSIR-NET or an eligible Ph.D. degree.
• Associate Professor / Professor: Relevant Ph.D. degree with substantial research publications and requisite years of teaching experience as per UGC Regulations 2018.

Application Process:
The application is dual-mode:

2. Hard Copy Submission: Send the signed printout of the online form with all self-attested academic certificates, research scores, and supporting documents to the University Registrar via Registered/Speed Post by June 26, 2026.

• Shortlisting based on UGC research score
• Oral interview with a mandatory 9-slide PPT presentation
