Educational Qualification
Project Linked Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Applicants should possess:
- M.Sc. or M.Tech. in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
- CSIR-UGC NET (including LS) or GATE qualification.
Project Scientist
Applicants should possess:
- Ph.D. (or Thesis Submitted) in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
- Minimum two research papers published in reputed journals or conferences.
Desirable Qualification
Preference will be given to candidates having:
- Cryptology
- Quantum Cryptology
- Coding Theory
- Research experience in information security and cryptographic systems
Salary
Project Linked Junior Research Fellow
- ₹37,000/- per month
- House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per Institute norms
Project Scientist
- ₹80,000/- per month (Consolidated)
Age Limit
- Maximum 35 Years as on 15 July 2026.
- Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per Government of India rules.
Project Duration
The appointment is initially up to 31 March 2027 from the date of joining.
The tenure may be extended depending on:
- Candidate's performance
- Availability of project funds
- Project requirements
